The winter that has just passed has given us the time to look at things in perspective and work on our long-term goals, a small step at a time. So, we can say that after a winter of introspection, analysis and planning we entered this spring with fresh forces, with much enthusiasm and enough positive energy to last for the whole year. As a result, happy events have been a chain for us.
But let’s start with the very beginning.
First of all, we were invited to the CAHM’s national hospitality suppliers conference in Ploiești. CAHM Europe is one of the largest cosmetics manufacturers and accessories for hospitality in Eastern Europe. The team from Ploiesti pleasantly surprised us with their can-do attitude and making things happen at their best capability to add something of value to the market. And this is a value that aligns with Calirom’s philosophy.
The conference was held in the last weekend of February, and we were able to talk about our smart hotel solutions to other vendors for future collaborations. We have to admit, we felt very well in Ploiești along with fine people from the Romanian hospitality arena. We tied new friendships and from our perspective, long-lasting partnerships. And for this, we would like to thank CAHM Ploiesti once again for the initiative and, of course, for the invitation.
The second important Calirom event the beginning of this year was the invitation we received on behalf of TVR Cluj to be present at the live show “Transylvania to Date” (“Transilvania la zi”) on March the 7th. This show’s edition was entitled “Smart City”, so we had the opportunity to discuss some interesting perspectives on smart technologies and the future in this regard. Last but not least, something you probably already know if you follow our Facebook page, is the qualification for the second year in a row amongst the top 50 Romanian companies in the “Made in Romania” contest/project organized by The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
The purpose of this nationwide project, which is gaining in popularity from one year to the next, is to identify and promote the top Romanian companies that have made major innovations in their fields. Out of the 50 companies remaining in the competition, only 15 will be awarded at the Bucharest Stock Exchange awards ceremony, which will take place on April the 23rd.
